This forum will give trainers the opportunity to openly
discuss training at its core without judgment. By listening to other trainers
you will leave with a better understanding of the other person's strategy.
Sharing successes with others in our field is a way to bring unity and respect
to our profession which has been weakened by disagreement and a lack of
flexibility.
Please join us for an open discussion of the canine mind and ways
to influence the dogs and their people in our care.
Some of the topics we will
discuss are:
- How do we best decide our training modality?
- Do any of the "old
school" training techniques still work?
- Is positive reinforcement an efficient
way to train all dogs for all tasks?
- Can management be considered training?
We
hope you can join us for this unique and thought provoking evening! |
