A shrill
scream shattered the quiet afternoon air. The dogs jumped up barking in frenzy,
the handlers rushed in the direction of the scream. A young woman was lying on
the ground with a head wound -- and a knife in her hand. There was blood around
her-- the canine detectives had just discovered another victim; luckily she had
managed to grab the knife and stab the suspect in his hand before he got away.
A note lying nearby threatened he would strike again at midnight. The dogs
were brought out. The determined detectives set out in the wilderness - with
only an hour before the sunset, they had to find the murderer before one of them
became a victim.
