The mission of the Good Dogs of America Merit Badge Program for Dogs in Training(tm) is to provide a fun and colorful way for owners to show pride in their dogs accomplishments, to provide incentives for the owners to practice at home, attend classes and to continue professional training until all basic commands and behaviors are mastered, and to provide professional trainers a means of distinguishing themselves in their communities and becoming more competitive.
