  Description of Seminar/Conference

This three week online Certificate Course is a “crash course” in genetics! In three short weeks, students will develop a solid foundation of understanding in genes, DNA, and inheritance. We will discuss what these things are, and what they mean for our companion dogs. We’ve all heard (and used!) terms like dominant and recessive, nature and nurture, genotype and phenotype. But do we actually understand what they mean? Discover all this and more, as you begin to learn how to apply your new found knowledge to working and living with the companion dog. This course is the perfect precursor to “Canine Behavioral Genetics.”
