Common companion animal behavior problems seen in behavior clinics often stem from anxiety. In this presentation Niwako Ogata, a board certified veterinary behaviorist and assistant professor of Companion Animal Behavior at Purdue University, will focus on the following questions:
Where does anxiety come from?
How can we reduce anxiety and nervousness in dogs?
How can we help keep our dogs’ minds healthy?
This lecture demonstrates that knowledge of canine body language and fear and/or anxiety responses are essential for the veterinary professional and other canine professionals. The relationship between the dog’s mind, health, and behavior must be taken into account. A question and answer session follows the webinar, moderated by Monique Udell, PhD.
