Do you want to add more to your toolbox in modifying behavior in aggressive dogs? There are many seminars that present on the topic of dog aggression and how to use behavior modification. But a key component missing is education on the nuts and bolts of handling dogs with aggression issues and how to keep yourself and others safe.
Michael Shikashio, CDBC and Trish Loehr, MSc, CPDT-KA, CDBC will be presenting a two-day workshop on safety, defensive handling, and the behavior modification techniques for aggressive dogs, at the Western Waukesha County Dog Training Club on May 20 and 21, 2017
Attendees will learn what is needed before working with aggressive dogs, gain hands-on experience in defensive handling and leash skills, and see videos of behavior modification in aggression cases.
This workshop is open to all trainers, behavior consultants, veterinarians, shelter staff, or anyone interested in learning more about dog aggression and how to stay safe. Newbies will learn a ton of skills that will allow them to remain safe. Seasoned veterans will discover new tools to add to their toolbox. Attendees will be practicing new skills during break-out sessions so they leave with skills already in place!
