| Gaby Dufresne-Cyr has been training dogs for over 20 years.
However, having worked with a variety of exotic animals (wolf, zebra, elk,
bison, camel, gaur buffalo, alpaca, etc.) she is extremely knowledgeable about
animal behaviour.
Over the years, she has hosted various seminars ranging from
bite prevention, dog training, animal behaviour modification and management, to
raw food diets and emotional projection. The last few years have been
particularly busy for her.
- Summer 2003. Worked at Park Safari zoo imprinting
and raising arctic wolf puppies for the ambassador program at the San Diego zoo.
- June 2004. She was featured in the San Diego Zoonooz magazine.
- From 2005 to
2008. Written various articles for the French magazine Passionnement Chien, and
The Forum Newsletter for the CAPPDT.
- Summer 2008. Perfected her abilities at
Wolf Park, Indiana (USA) by participating in the ethology and captive wolf
management program.
- Spring 2009. Was on the French CKOI 96.9 and English CJAD
800 radio shows talking about dogs, wolves and training.
Her talent as a speaker
is remarkable, professional and entertaining. She has a great sense of humor and
becomes totaly zen when talking about animals.
