Jerry is the owner of Canine Behavior Clinic. Since its inception
in 1985, Jerry has been involved in solving complex behavior problems in dogs.
For the past twelve years, Jerry has been involved in research concerning puppy
development. This work is what prompted his writing of the book, The Breeder's
Guide to Raising Superstar Dogs, due to be released early in April 2008. He has
trained and evaluated thousands of puppies of all ages.
He has been training
dogs professionally since 1975 and has more than 30 years experience including a
formal education in the area of psychology and an in-depth understanding of
learning theory.
Jerry is a certified dog behavior consultant with the
International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), a professional
member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and a professional member
of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). He has served
on the Board of Directors of The American Temperament Testing Society, Inc.
(ATTS) and is a Teaching Chief Tester with ATTS. Jerry is also a certified
PetTech Instructor, certified to teach pet first aid. |
